Who I Am
Denise Warner dreamed of becoming an attorney in junior high school. She worked toward that goal when she attended the University of Connecticut School of Law. While in law school, she was very active in the National Black Law Students Association where she held several leadership roles, including Northeast Sub-Regional Director.
After graduating from law school, she moved to DeKalb County, Georgia. She started her practice as a trial attorney with the law firm of Onyirimba & Associates, P.C., where she served as first chair in personal injury trials and practiced immigration law. While working at Onyirimba & Associates, P.C., Denise made the decision that she was going to better serve her community as a judge.
In 1996, she gave birth to her son, Kobi Antone Warner. The joys of motherhood sparked her interest in advocating for the best interests of children. Her passion for family law inspired her to move her practice to DeKalb County and open the Law Office of Denise M. Warner, P.C. in Stone Mountain. |
